Dave I would leave them full length and include the points. Them who ever buys them can cut and taper to there liking. Sounds like they will look awesome. I am going to be off Fri -Mon and plan on camping the whole weekend (weather permitting). See you guys next week.

Eric maybe I'll taper full length and leave the points unglued just for show for the auction. My idea this year was 5 Zwickey broadheads,5 Zwickey field points, 4 Zwickey judo's, and 4 blunts on flu flus for a total of 1 1/2 dozen.

I should be there part of both days unless some kind of antelope option rears its head between now and then.  Since I live 1/2 mile away it hardly seems worth it to set up a tent or camper, but that's what my daughters want me to do.

I just drove through Linwood yesterday checking the trail camera on one of my spots.  I haven't stopped in the place there since it was the Sand Bar, a long time ago.  I was thirsty once when I drove by last fall but it looked like a rowdy crowd so I kept driving.   :)   I grew up west of Morse Bluff on the Linwood Road.

Hope to see you guys there...

OK guys one more pic now that the set is complete. Specs are 55-60 spine and should be around 560 grains depending what points are used.

Great looking arrows.  Those would be especially attractive to someone from U of Oregon!  I made up a set one time with yellow arrow wraps, red nocks, and barred red feathers...and when done called them my Iowa State arrows.

On the trail cam pics, I'm kinda superstitious about that.  I rarely share and almost never publish trail cam photos of bucks while the season is yet to come, is still in progress, or if I assume the buck is still alive.  Just bad mojo.

I'll be glad to publish before and after pictures if that comes to pass.   :)

Question, What time do things start on Saturday? Need to know this info. Do people come and go as the day goes on? The reason for these is the wifey picked up some Husker tickets from her folks and thinks I need to be there for them to win Sat night.

Thanks for the compliments on the arrows guys. Wary Buck the ones I made for the spring fling came out pretty good too, they were Husker arrows white crown, black stain shaft with red/white splice feathers. Todd long stories make good campfires!
