Time to start kicking around some ideas.  Who else is thinking about showing up this year?

I'm planning on going again this year. 2nd weekend in October sounds good to me. I think that was a date that was thrown out.  But I'm open to discussion on other dates.

I hope to be able to get with you guys this year. I really am going to try too not have anything going. I hope you guys can make it to the TBA longbow shoot next month. If you can remind me at the shoot and we'll make an announcement about it.

At last year's hunt most folks said the 2nd week in Oct is when they wanted to hunt.  That's fine with me.

I'll give Tyler a call soon and see how it is going with him.

Might even have to sneak in a pre ARROW scouting trip in Sep.

The 12th-13th of October?  Yep, so far as I know that sounds good.  Haven' seen a drill schedule that far out yet but I expect it will be the previous weekend, so that should be alright.  I may have to take a personal day on Friday to head down a bit earlier too.  We'll see.

He'd like to.  He is well past his recurve days and will be shooting a compound (with old Bear razorheads...   ), but if everyone else can live with that he'd like to tag along for sure.

He's absolutely welcome. Bring him on. I look forward to meeting him.

Mike, we hunt different pockets and islands semi close to the campground. Some bring boats, some walk out from campsite.

PAC I don't think we want to hunt on Oct 12&13 they are having the big bass splash on the lake that week end will be very rough & dangerous on the water at first light...deer will most likely stay in heavy cover... first place is new truck and a 20 ft bass boat plus 10 grand...every red neck for 1000 mi.s will be there, not the place to be campgrounds will be filled to limit

I'm Ok with September, too. Thanks, Dave, that's good information to know and you're likely right about crowded.

If I can fit it in with work and kids I would love to come along. If I can't perhaps I could just drop by to meet everyone.

I'll probably bring a selfbow/shooter buddy from up here too, if he can get away from work.  He's not on the forum.  Part of the Downtown Hippy Archery Brigade we have going on here in Rogers.

Shoulder is getting better and I have been shooting in the backyard a few days each week.  ARROW will be upon us sooner than you think.  Trying to get ready.

I have yet to be able to attend.  Seems something always gets in the way. Last two years it has been some personal issues and now that I have those worked out I had to use all my vacation time after having a heart cath...Maybe next year I will be able to meet you guys and share a camp and some hunting.  God bless and y'all be safe out there.

Getting closer.  Think I might go on a stump shoot to help get ready.
