Making woodies from scratch
« on: August 08, 2012, 09:48:00 PM »
I was wondering if any one around central Ar made their own woodies from scratch. I am wanting to learn and was hoping they would should me. I would really appreciate it if someone would!

I make my own starting with the raw shaft.  Make my own fletchings too.  How near to Beebe are you?

I'm about an hour/hour and a half away from there. Do you think you could show me the process sometime?

Ck here is a thread I put together awhile back.  This colection helped me when I first started making wooden arrows.  You might find it usefull to get an idea of what is involved and how to go about doing it.  That way when we get together to build some arrows you will understand the basics and possibly even more.
