Dave Allbright bows
« on: March 10, 2009, 07:49:00 PM »
I posted a thread on the "other site" 3 days ago wanting to see pics of Dave's bows...not a single reply yet?  I know there were a bunch of you shooting them at the TBA shoot... I'd sure like to see pics of the pretty veneers he uses...
-maybe post some both places???

Hey Bob, I don't have one of Dave's bows, but I did see the one he was shooting on Sat. boy was that a pretty bow.  I'm thinking about maybe ordering one from him, just can't quite make myself get another bow just yet.  Too many(well maybe not) already.  My son and I had a great time at the shoot. He won the Braves division so he was even more excited.  Look forward to the June shoot.  See ya

Bob,
Dave said he doesn't have to many photos of his bows. Here is a pic of a couple of his risers. I do know the bow he was carrying Saturday had Leopard wood limb laminations.

Does he have a website? I saw a couple of his bows at the shoot and they looked nice.

I will forward this to him, he isnt a big 'puter guy but he should be able to send a pic of some lams..  his bows are as good as any out there and better than most! I have 2,  1 with lacewood lams and one is a older osage one...my wife also has one.. not sure of the lambs but it is beautiful!!

while Dave is learning to use a computer, here are a couple pics of our Alright bows...
the darker one is a 8 yr old or so osage.. so its not gonna show much since its gotten so dark...but all show excellent craftsmanship and I dont really know how they could shoot any better.
he is a dang perfectionist,  drives me crazy!
