There is a BOD meeting scheduled for Dec 13. How do you guys want to work that? Should we do the meeting at the hunt?

This could be a issue. I scheduled the banquet and board meeting room at the Marriott for that day. I'm willing to have the banquet meeting at Don's however I'm concerned about attendance. If we can get people there I'm fine but it is the lad meeting before banquet unless I schedule another meeting date after Christmas.

Does anybody know of any locations mid state that has a huntable population of snow shoe bunnies ? That could be a fun change up.

Got word that the December bunny hunt was cancelled due to other important issues (see smoke1953 above).

Alright, everyone can breath again here in WI now that the Pack has defeated the dreaded, evil and generally disliked Dallas Cowboys. I am looking forward to the bunny hunt and am in deep contemplation on what my culinary offering will be. Who else is up for taking Don up on this generous offering to host the hunt?

So far I am planning to be there, at least for Saturday.  I am trying to entice two friends into the side of trad archery and have asked them.

Richard,

I would say around 8:00AM or so. Just email or call Don to check for sure. I will send him and email so he can post here.

I was planning on bringing plenty of eggs and some venison bacon that I made for breakfast.

8 am is fine...we more than likely will not head out right away (especially if there are fresh eggs and Venny-bacon for breakfast!) since that's the way we seem to roll....send me a PM or email if you plan to come, just to have an idea of how long to make the game pole!  :goldtooth:

So far I have only heard from Jerry Karbon, Tom Colstad, Kevin Winkler, Chuck Cote, and Terry Woirol...

Anyone else coming?

If you weren't there, you missed the bunny hunt of the century.  It was awesome.  Maybe 3" of snow on the ground, temps above 30 degrees (it has almost always been at or below zero before) and the bunnies were out in force.  OF course, Don's farm and neighbors farms have extremely thick cover so shots are not easy.

Three beagles and Augie dog made the day a symphony of baying dogs.  Food was voluminous and wonderful.

Thanks Don for hosting the hunt once again.

Many thanks to Don for hosting this popular event!! There was many bunnies to keep everyones interest all day long. I went one for one(one arrow shot, one arrow lost). Maybe someone kept track of shots taken. I bet it was over 50. There is however one less bunny for the next hunt. Good shooting Josia!!
