Want to have some fun?????
« on: April 08, 2003, 02:08:00 PM »
If you would like to participate, I would like to welcome back Dean from his hunt in OZ by bombarding him with invites to Trad Gang by email.

Just a short message will be fine, and tittle your email "Missing you at TRAD GANG".

Just a short invite with your personal touch would be perfect.  Dean has a wealth of talent, and I think most here would love for him to share it with us.  We would like him to know he is most welcome here.

So, if you wish...here's his email address...

gepetto@bowyersedge.com

... you can click on the above hotlink to open up your email program and quickly send Dean a note!

I'm confused, which is nothing new.  I thought Dean was swallered by a giant toadey frog while squirrel hunting in some place called OZ, which I guess is next to Kansas.

Anyway, on the off chance he clawed his way from the bowels of the slimy beast, I'll send an e-mail.

Charlie, not sure its a good idea to mention that picture and then say you'd like to see MORE of him--not sure any of us are ready for that

Is there anyone from the civilized world (you know, that area north of say Paducah, Kentucky) that actually eats squirrel brains?

Jason, you and I find this practice hard to believe because you and I head shoot our squirrels. The proper method for harvesting squirrels.   :)

North of Paducah?  That's Canada, isn't it?

I got friends who think anybody north of Montgomery is a yankee.    "[tunglaff]"

Can close my eyes right now and see my grandfather cracking squirrel skulls with the handle of the butter knife.

Al, I would be closing my eyes also if'n I was forced to witness a scene such as that. The real question is, did you partake?

Embarrassing to admit this but my mother use to tell me stories of her childhood about herself and 8 brothers and sisters fighting over the squirrel brains granddad brought home. Suspect we can all point to things in our family trees we would rather forget about.   :)

So, am I to gather that people actually do this? I always thought is was one of those "hill-billy myths".

I just can't seriously picture someone cracking a squirrel's head open, peeking inside, and thinking, "Now that looks tastey!".     "[dead]"
