Any diehards ?
« on: December 27, 2010, 09:26:00 AM »
So who went out this morning, or is going out ?

I did, went out to start shoveling,LOL. There has to be 2 feet of snow in the back yard, and on the deck, and I shoveled the deck twice yesterday.

I'll be shooting in the backyard by this afternoon,

Have fun everyone.

Went out this past Monday night and it was painful walking to the stand with all that snow. You don't really think of how bad it will  be until your committed and your thigh's are burning and cramping up. As I sat in the stand I wondered who I could call to help drag one out if I got lucky, Kinda glad I didn't get one.But it was fun

This past storm has been funny. Every once in a while the folks in the south and on the coast get to see what we get EVERY winter. Sussex County averaged about 5" to 6" and most of that is gone now.

Yeah, it kinda reversed itself this time, I had about 2' in my back yard.

A few years ago I tried going out in something like we just had. By the time I got to my stand I was so sweated up from trying to get through the snow that all I could do is go back home before I froze to death. We're supposed to get a little more tomorrow night.
