First Lite wool baselayer
« on: December 18, 2012, 07:45:00 PM »
I bought this on the advise of my guide in Colorado. The top and bottom are awesome. Totally itch-free. I've tried other wool which was reported to be itch free - they weren't. This one is the best I've tried. I had to work a bowl game here last Saturday. Crappy weather, not a lot of moving around and I was fairly comfortable. Feet were cold but the wool definitely made a difference on my body. I liked it so much, I ordered the Labrador wool sweater. A++

I have the sanctuary coat and north branch bibs. Along with their base layers. Only regret I have is not buying this stuff  5 years ago. I am sold. I am a small guy and get cold easy. Not any more. We spend thousands on bows and cheap out on quality clothing is something we all do. But it is worth every penny.

Pretty tough to beat First Lite! Especially for extended day hunts or for sweat management!

First Lite is top notch gear.  The merino wool still retains moisture even when it is damp and it fantastic on moisture management.  I also use their lightweight raingear as well as merino wool hunting pants.  Well worth the money.
