I shot one side by side with a Martin Savannah at the local Cabelas.
For me, the Martin was  the better bow. Smoother draw and more comfortable grip.
The Patriot wasn't bad though. It seems like a very solid bow and one you won't mind dragging through the muck.

I Had a patriot.  The top limb was defective.  I took it back to exchange,  Looked at 5 more patriots.  All had same defect.  Escalade has a bad jig for the patriot.  This was a year ago.  I don't know if they fixed the flaw or not.
