Thunderstick bows
« on: December 04, 2006, 12:57:00 AM »
Jim Reynolds, Thunderstick Archery is a great guy to deal with and he makes a superb bow.
I have owned his Thunderstick III and now his MOAB.  These longbows both were top notch in quality workmanship and performance.  I am really impressed with the MOAB.  For a shorter R/D style bow its performance is great.  My bow is 62#@27", I draw 27 1/2" and it shoots a 625-30 Grain arrow 189 f.p.s.

Thundersticks are no doubt one of the best values on the market.  Have a Thunderstick III that I bought in 1998....looks the same as the day it was delivered.  Never had any problems and its a great shooter.  You can pay twice as much, but you only should if you can :-)

Yep, nice shooting bows and very quick. I had one that was 60", 58# @ 29" and smooth all the way back. Priced right too.

All in all, the MOAB is a great bow and I'd recommend them to anyone....Mike

I just got a thunderstick Mag from a tradganger.  I can only say, WOW.  It is dead in the hand, quiet, fast and accurate (points great).  I love the grip.  looked like I will have to purchase another, maybe get to shoot a MOAB and see how it is.

I bought a moab off of the classified here. It is fast, looks nice and hits right where you are looking. Great bow.
