NEW BOW & LIMBBOLTS PICS
« on: August 03, 2006, 08:20:00 PM »
Well I Made a swap with a great guy here on trad gang. I got the bow today and wow what a shooter. I made these limbbolts a few days ago with indian head pennys inlaid in them. I think they look cool. This bow is a real pleasure to shoot and is quiet band smooth. Did I mention it's fast? LOL it is. Bamboo limbs with caron and a dymond wood riser. The grip is just awesome. This is there basic bow and for $400.00 ya get alot of bow. Mikecc ya done great.<><

Thanks Mike. mikecc did a real nice job on this bow. He is just a hobby bowyer and is a real nice guy to deal with. The limb bolts came to me when I was snooping around ebay and seen some old pennys . Thought they would cool and I think they do. So mike ( Bodork) when are you going to make a takedown longbow?<><

Sticshooter, Thanks for the kind words. I'm so happy you like the bow and that it got their safely. I'm excited to get the burr limb bolts. I just finished a new bow for myself last night and our bowhunt starts on the 19th so I hope I can get in enough practice. I'm sure those burr limb bolts will help make my new bow break the 200fps mark.LOL  Thanks again. Mike

Sure looks good! Indian Head pennies and Buffalo nickels are my favorites.

Well I shot this through the crono with my 450gr carbons and was getting mid 190s at my 29 " draw bow being 55@29. Buffalo nickels are next on my list for bolts and somemore pennys. Danny  this won't be getting sold anytime soon. Maybe when you sell the caribou! LOL<><
