Just received 2 quivers I had ordered from Steven. A Hill style back quiver and a Side Kick. The workmanship is absolutely beautiful. I was going to make another backquiver but couldn't find the leather I liked so I gave up and called Steven. Glad I did. My grandsons will be fighting over these. If your looking try his web site @  www.hidehandler.com  . Worth every penny. Delivery time was great as well.

He makes great stuff. I have a hip quiver, belt, and 2 arm guards from him.
If it's in your way, move it.

I got to go to the Trad weekend at Baltimore a couple of weeks ago and met Steve for the first time. I had just before that went to his web sight and loved his animal skin (fur) back quivers. Well unfortunatly he didn't have any there to look at close up, I got there on Saturday early but he had a slew of hip and side & back quivers with lots of knife sheaths all excellent work. Well at the end of the day after walking the 3-d courses I went back to really look with the prospects of buying and there was only one side kick  there but in the end it was the one I wanted just plain with no tooling or extra's but first rate work and as excellent buy my friend also bought a hip quiver he loves. when we were leaving at the and of the day next to our truck was a father and son camping in a tent and he saw my quiver and here he bought the more fancy upgraded side-kick earlier that day so we compared each other's quiver's and I remembered seeing his at Steve's tent at the beginning of the day when I first looked around. Anyway his workmanship is great and I even took a picture of Steve holding my Quiver to remember the day.

I agree.  I own a couple of Steve's quivers, arm guards and knife sheaths (in fact, he originally made the Knife and File sheath pictured on his website for me when I was putting together a "Fred Bear" set).  Top notch work.  I will be a customer for life!
