Bow Hush and Hush Puppy Silencers
« on: December 12, 2005, 04:47:00 PM »
Recently ordered the Bowh Hush and Hush Puppy string silencers for my various recurves and long bows. I was very impressed with both products. They made what I considered quiet bows before, dead silent.

A new Black Widow PMA Ironwood which I recently acquired was much noisier than my other bows. After outfitting this bow with both products, another TradGanger told me that my Widow was the quietest one he had ever shot.

Enough said. I'm convinced. Thanks to the makers of Bow Hush and Hush Puppy for a great product. "Silence is Golden" when you are a traditional archer.

I ordered some Bow Hush and Hush Puppy's early last week.  I know it's too early to expect the product.

It would be great if they had email, or even I knew who to PM here, so I knew whether they received my order/check.

Does anyone have contact info for them besides the PO Box?

Thanks

Rob

I just put some hush puppies on my Shawnee with Dakota limbs.Excellent product,I was impressed with how quiet it made the bow.
Haven't used the bow hush yet,but had it on a Widow recurve and it made quite a difference.
Both are great products and easy to install.

These are the best products on the market as far as I am concerned. I put them on every bow that I sell and use.         Chort

Hey Guys,

I'm new to the forum, and have been reading with interest your thoughts on the Hush Puppies, and the Bow Hush.  I too have just order a new PMA-V Black Widow, and would be interested in trying them out when it arrives.  Where can I order the product?  Are they available at Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops, as both are in my area?

Thanks,
Tom Taylor

OK...you talked me into them I just ordered both. Glad you have the Paypal option too. My Saxon Shrike is quiet but when I draw there is a tacky sound of the waxed string coming off the limb tip...I hate that. I've tried a few different ways to stop it and think your wool may do it, as well as adding a little more quiet on release. Do instructions come with them?
