Mercury Nocks
« on: May 10, 2004, 11:08:00 PM »
I have started making my own arrows and am trying to locate the old style, traditional nocks.  I believe they were called Mercury nocks.  Does anyone know where I can get these nocks or something similar?

Thanks.

The quality of the Mercury nocks has slipped somewhat. Unless you can find a stock of the older ones, I would suggest the Bohning Classic.

Thanks Gene.  I think I will give the Bohning nocks a try.

I get Mercury nocks from Valley Traditional Archery in Colorado.  I think that they must have got new injection molds because the nocks were perfect.  The quaility was much better then the ones I had gotten previously and they were obviously from different molds.  Joseph

Thanks, Joseph, that's good to know. I really like the Mercs.

Scattershot,
Pequest Valley Archery (908-453-2009) has a good supply of old stock Mercury nocks in most available colors and sizes.

I have about 2000 nocks here in my shop. I would be willing to help you out if you get in touch with me. I don't know exactly what you are looking for. I have them and you need them so that is reason enough to talk. They had might as well be on arrows. Cheap.

I like the old ace nocks. No pinch but large. Palmer Archery has some.
