Stone eye candy
« on: January 01, 2018, 03:46:00 PM »
I don't knap but I do collect knapped items from friends. Here is my knife collection. I'll try to name a few of the makers.

top left, Mickie Lotz,
center right rhyolite blade, James Parker
top coyote jawbone, Wm. Blalock(bought at Friendship Indiana).
Coyote jawbone in Becca Parker braintanned  sheath with quillwork, Eddie Parker
Forked antler under braintanned, Dana Montgomery.
Long antler on right side, David Knight.
The others are not signed and I don't remember.

Thought I'd add a few more pieces of my collection;  stone points and blades and a collection of replica arrows with stone heads, foreshafts with stone heads attached, and stone points all made and sent to me by Patrick Blank(aka Jackcrafty). I give Patrick lots of hardwood shoots I gather around here and this set showed up in the mail one day a few years ago. Here's a few pics...

Jon, I added the pieces to the board so I could display them together. Patrick does great work but he can't help himself.    :D

Very nice guys. I've been wanting to try my hand at making some I could hunt with. Just need to break down and get started.
