Turkey season opens Friday here in NY, and I want to wish everybody Luck. I hope you all have a great season. Good luck, and hunt safe.   :thumbsup:

Thanks Charlie. I've had to do a lot of hoofing on two worn out knees, but I found a few birds to hunt. I meant to tell you in my other thread, that I'm glad things are looking better for you too.   :thumbsup:

Thanks Bob, On opening day I saw 5 jakes who had more interest in a hen who already had their attention.

The second Day I was interrupted by 4 other hunters and a  coyote. so I guess 5 other hunters.

I think the hens cause us more grief than everything else put together.

Not much we can do about the other hunters either...  it sure stinks when you're working a bird and somebody else joins the party.

The season's young. You've gotten some of the bull out of the way, now you can settle down and kill a bird or two. Good luck with 'em Charlie.
