A few.  TAB club did the legwork this year, so we all had lots to do (It did all get done by "the usual suspects, and was as organized as our meetings :-) Everyone worked hard and it turned out well).  Here is what I remembered to take when I thought of it....  I was one of the "Registration Captains", so was around the registration area most all the time.  The weather cooled a bit on Saturday and Sunday (low 80's), so it was pleasant-but boy the setup was HOT!

The valley from up on the hill while setting up targets for the trail shoot.

My camp, such as it was.  Turns out I didn't even end up spending the night, as it didn't work out Friday, and I forgot my sleeping bag Saturday (ah, the wonders of old age creeping up on me, combined with modern medicine that helps with one thing and makes another thing worse........)

Registration, along with Steve with money, and Tino with the "lending" pair of readers for those of us who can't be without them.....

The prize table(s).  We had 39 raffle drawing prizes (including the folding picnic table and benches in the picture-it was so popular we had to put out another container for the raffle tickets- and lots of arrows), drawing for the Brackenbury bow (on loan until next year's Pope & Young shoot-it took a nice 4 point blacktail buck last year), and a whole round table of General Raffle prizes (even the General Raffle bucket was raffled off!)

Why is it when I look in the mirror every morning I don't look as old as a picture of me?  Steve

Every once in a while in the morning, I wonder "Who is that looking back at me?????"  I have this mental picture in my head of me when I was about 30, then I wake up..........

It was voted at the business meeting on Saturday after the pot luck to have the 50 animal Trail Shoot on Saturday instead of Sunday next year.

I think that will be a good thing for shooters, and for the club that is hosting the Pope & Young.  There will be more shooters for the Trail Shoot, and the targets can all be down off the mountain by Saturday night, leaving Sunday for a more relaxed Clout and Wand, with the prizes being awarded in the early afternoon instead of late on Sunday....

I personally would attend the trail shoot if held on a Saturday. However I realize what's best for me might not be good for others.
