It was actually a pretty good meeting. The person who had the raffle prizes brought 9 things and wrapped them for Christmas. A couple other folks brought stuff to throw into the pot, a Cold Steel knife and an nice picture of Chet Stevenson and a nice blacktail he took. 11 prizes all total, and guess who didn't win ANY of them??? Someone brought some soy/coconut frozen confections (which were good), and Peg baked one of her great cakes.
LaRae had some leather working stuff in a cart that belonged to Dave's that she wanted me to have if it could be used, but since I had most of it already, I thought Steve should hang onto it, and it could be loaned out for use to folks to make quivers. The Dave Memorial Quiver Making Cart!
Talked about the January TAO meeting coming up in Sisters, and the 2013 meeting that we are in charge of. Looks like we might have T.J. Conrads from Traditional Bowhunter as the speaker, and they are having it at the Holiday Inn over near the Gateway mall (so we can all go to Cabela's and there are lots of good places for lunch).
Some archery practice went on in the back, and the usual war stories up front. It was good.
