Winter Activities
« on: December 28, 2012, 01:10:00 PM »
Hey all, anyone doing any hunting or bow building this winter?  Our kids have been sick off and on the last couple weeks and I'm already starting to get cabin fever.  Good thing we live in Colorado!

I'm fixin to order some new cedar pretty soon and churn out a dozen or two.  I also have an osage stave on my mind.  We'll see what happens.

How about you?

Yeah, I hear that.  We have a handful of cottontails running around the house here.  I've already thumped a couple with my Abbott longbow, put the meat in the freezer and salted the hides.  I'm planning to tan the pelts to try them out as string silencers.  They sure will test your shooting proficiency.
