Well the HCJ 2017 was a real success for me.  I had a great time going around both the coarses.  A big thank you goes out to Abe Penner who spent a lot of time with me on the practice range covering arrow flight and weight of arrows.  Thank you Abe.

Thanks to Mitchell, Mark Barber and Dave and Nino for scooping me up and have me join them.  Some of the best shooting I have seen at the HCJ came from this bunch of peanut galley crows.  There were some really impressive shots.  I think that Mitchell who had been on site helping for a few days really was tuned in from shooting lots before the jamboree.

Sunday I brought my family up (wife and three daughters) and we shot B coarse for a while.  It was a great time.  My wife's groups were impressive and the kids really enjoyed it.  Thanks to Sam and all who pitches in.  It was great.

The shooting experience was very valuable for me.  I liked talking to people about arrow tuning and shooting heavy points.  When I go into a shop people just don't have experience talking traditional experience.  It is awesome to speak with others that have been doing it and then a little thing snaps into place and confidence rises.  Some pics to come when I figure it out.
