Gophers
« on: May 16, 2017, 09:39:00 PM »
I will be in southern Alberta at the end of May in search of gophers. I'll use my longbow, broadheads and wood arrows and use the hunt for a warm up for NALS.

Hope it is not too wet around Warner as it makes driving around and hunting a little more difficult.
Gophers aren't as tough as turkeys.

I wouldn't be using broadheads. Hit'm with a judo and leave with all your arrows

Agreed, bread heads and the hooves of ranchers animals are a bad combination.

The weather last week was hot and sunny and gophers were everywhere. We killed a bunch. We saw a few mule deer in the draws as well but also saw lots of antelope including one really big bruiser.

People in Southern Alberta are the best people in the world!
