It was fun, we dodged most of the rain. The location was nice to shoot, lots of up and down shots but also a bit dangerous when it got slick.

I brought some cougar meat and "mushroom man Tim" picked a whole bunch of red tops.  I made cougar and wild mushroom stew and it was nice indeed.  The caterer fed us so much food at the banquet it was insane, BBQ ribs (next time I'll take half as many). And honestly one of the nicest cakes I've had in a long time, I went back for a second piece although I'm not sure how I managed to pack it down.

As far as I know we made out ok financially although the bucket draws sure didnt seem to have very many tickets in them, a sign of the financial times I think.  There were some nice prizes and "Lucky Tim Dugan" won the Jack Kemp bow as well as the canoe!  That a haul in my opinion, couldn't happen to a nicer dude although I think I'm a nicer dude and didn't win any draws as usual.  I did win a nice set of broadheads donated by Dennis at git er done and I'm sure I'll kill something tasty with them.

All in all a nice weekend and it ended with a night of sipping and lying with good friends, a good ending indeed!
