stolen bow/day pack in edmonton
« on: September 22, 2014, 01:11:00 AM »
hey guys,

had my samick journey with 30 lbs limbs and a brand new exo mountain pack stolen out of my truck the other day, I know who did it(have video evidence of my neighbours leaving their house and breaking into my truck) unfortunately due to poor video quality and the distance from the camera to my house the police cannot do anything.  I ask 2 favours of all the Albertan tradgangers, first off please remember my mistake and remove your bows/valuables from your vehicles at night.  secondly if you happen to come across someone (the people who broke into my truck are asain gangbangers) selling my gear please notify the police.

the samick journey is fairly new and the exo mountain packs are only availiable online so there shouldn't be that many kicking around Edmonton.

that being said I was notified bythe police that my neighbour has a lengthy criminal record including drug charges.

thanks and good luck this fall afield

-kristian

I am a retired police officer and wonder ....are the police not interviewing these suspects....is there enough video evidence to try other avenues...how about crimestoppers..or showing the video on crimestoppers.....

seems to me more can be done

Brad...my friend had her car stolen in Edmonton a while ago by individuals well known to the police...trust me the way the Edmonton City police approach things is not particularly confidence inspiring...and yes more could be done...unlikely it will be it seems

DDave
I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Dave I can''t pass judgement on Edmonton police Service as with any job ..some workers are more motivated than others...I am sure their are alot of good officers in Edmonton....
