2014 NALS
« on: June 08, 2014, 10:24:00 AM »
So, who is going to NALS this year? So far I have the following:
Iredales, Jablonskis, Oebels (maybe).

Pretty sure Brad and Bert will go.

Reply here and we can get the Alberta contingent together while we are there.

Cheers,
Dave & Kathryn

Just finished my NALS arrows and they're flying sweet.

I was sitting here looking at them and a rare thought entered my mind. I actually didn't want to lose any of them ever. Now I don't usually try and lose them but I don't really have my heart in many of them. These ones here feel right though.

Well, plans have changed due to medical issues. Me may arrive Wednesday or so, if I am cleared to travel.

Hope to still see you there,

Beautiful country and spectacular people. The bugs were very friendly and social....... Itch itch.

38 degrees in Kenewick on the drive down and I'm sure it wasn't any colder at the shoot. Lots of long shots and more draw prizes then I have ever seen.

2015 will be another great shoot I'm sure, but this time ill have a sweet set of Fir arrows.  :)

The venue was fantastic, I think this was one of the few Safari's that I have been to that had hot showers available.
Like Adam and Brad have said the weather was brutally hot 38*C , we had an awesome time and even got a side trip in to "Glass Butte", came home with a few rocks   :)   When travelling along the Columbia river we traded a few beads for a 20 pound Chinook Salmon that fed 5 of us for 2 days, words cannot describe the deliciousness of this fresh fish, about 4 hrs from the time it was caught till it was on the grill.
Thank you Dave and Nancy Doran for another Great North American Longbow Safari.
Won't be long now guys before we can put all this practise to use (hopefully)
