What a day :)
« on: February 18, 2014, 11:06:00 AM »
I was a man on a mission a few nights ago. Frankly I was driving Nina up the wall with amount of dusk and noise coming from the kitchen. That's right, in our place the only solid enough bench to work from is the kitchen counter.

At about 10:00 pm I contacted Pincher Creeks own Bert, and asked if he had room for me the following day. He replied, "get down here", or something like that.

After a long day sanding and trying to mimic the unbelievable skill and control over the many tools I had a functioning bow, thanks in large to the many fine tuning tweaks Bert made to correct the even more numerous wrong tuning tweaks I made.

The craziest thing happened when I got home.

People were over and I needed to show everyone what I had returned with.

Like every bow I own I passed this one around to have it inspected and admired, but a new thing happened while showing it off.

I NEVER LET GO OF IT. hahahahah I figure I'm really attached to it and I was pretty worried that some unforeseen thing might happen to my new toy.

Thanks Bert and thanks Greg for the awesome lunch

Brad I asked Nina to name it.

I will keep everyone posted with the name she chooses.

I'll have to post some pictures as well.
