Bamboo arrows
« on: October 08, 2013, 01:41:00 PM »
So I have been hunting with bamboo and nothing seems to hold fletchings or points, so I called Bert and he recommended CA glue. I bought some an it worked the best out off all previous options. Well today I was playing with point weights with Dennis and we put a small drop of bearpaw glue on the point. Now I have a permanent practice head hahahahha

This glue is unbelievable!

It's almost to dangerous for a young mind like mine to have control over  :)

Where do you get the bamboo arrow shafts?
What kind of grain weight do you get with the finished arrows?

I get the shafts from a friend in SD, have a bunch more coming this sprin.
Regards.
Bert.
