Bow Camp October 16th - 23rd
« on: July 09, 2015, 06:46:00 AM »
Greeting Fellow Bow Hunters,

When I say bow camp, whats the first thing that pops into your mind? Yepper it is Grayling Michigan and for a small group of us this favorite spot has turned out to be the Mason Track as this place has captured our hearts. Again this year we will be camping at Canoe Harbor State forest campgrounds located right on the beautiful Ausable River.

Like always you’re welcome to stay the whole week or just a day or two if that is all time allows you. The majority of the people will come up for and extended weekend or some come up for both weekends whatever fits in your schedule. This is a family oriented camp so we encourage the wives and young hunters to come and experience camp life.

We would love to share camp with our family and friends sure hope to see you their!
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

I'm going to try to make it for a couple days.  Just bought a new kayak and was wondering if there would be any benefit to bringing it along?  Are there any parts of the tract that can be accessed more easily by kayak or canoe?  I am assuming the south branch is smaller than the main branch of the Au Sable?

Hey Mark I plan on being there the 16th if that helps!

Gary, your Kayak would get you in some great spots on the other side of the river. It's not necessary but sure would get you in some remote areas.

I believe we are going up next weekend to do a little hunting but mainly scouting and hanging a few stands.
