The tournament is on May 31st, but there are folks that go bowfishing all year with great success (particularly at night). Fish are there all year, not just during the Spring Spawn.

Can't wait to see you guys there Mike, early feedback from FB page shows we should have 20 plus teams/boats. We have $100.00 each for smallest fish and largest fish plus plagues for those. We should have around 1,000.00 total in the pot for the big five placings (1st 2nd, 3rd) plus a plague for 1st place.

Sunshine, plenty of fish, and bows on the water, what can be more fun than that.  :)

I'm kinda considering entering. I live nearby and I've been down there bowfishing about every day anyways. I had a damn good evening yesterday. I don't know that I could compete with the boats and such but I've been having good luck from the banks.

Shag08 A bank walking team won 2nd place last year and this year. We had 3 bank-walking teams in all and the other two bank-walking teams did really good also. I think the added mobility of a bankwalking team helps to level the playing field somewhat. Because for some reason at this tourney, the waders/bank-shooters did really good. :)

I am posting a results thread in a few minutes to show how the day went.

I ended up entering. Just now saw that you had replied. I made a lengthy post on the results thread.

Thanks for putting this on.
