Next shoot is April 10th.. We need to repair a bunch of targets.. I am gonna talk to Rob H about buying a couple of foam repair kits. The fee to shoot is only $5 and that includes lunch, not sure if it's in the LongHammock budget to buy the 2 "club repair kits" at $110 each. Yesterday I did an experimental repair on a target at my house.. I used an old deer target, I cut foam blocks from it and fit them into the hole in another target, then I sprayed Great stuff foam into the small voids. I will spray paint target to make it look better...not sure if this is a good fix, time will tell..

Rob, Spray paint may eat into the foam. I use latex house paint on my targets. Great stuff comes in different expansion formulas. Get the low expanding.

I ordered some target repair foam today. I'll be watching a few YouTube videos on target repair the next few days.. I have used the great stuff foam for my personal targets. We may need to have a work day after the next shoot if the new foam repair kit comes on this week.

The foam target repair kit is being delivered today..I hope we can fix a few of the targets this weekend. We need to mix the 2 Foam parts with a drill and mixer bit..My cordless drill died last month and I can't find the 24 volt batteries at Lowe's, maybe Rob H has one??.we will also need duct tape, Saran wrap, plastic jugs to mix the foam in...

we worked on 4 targets today..we found out that all you need to do is wrap the target with 4 or 5 wraps of Dollar Store "cling wrap"...cut a 2 inch hole in one side and pour the foam into the hole and wait..The 4 targets we repaired had extensive damage to them and it took about an average of 25 oz of unmixed/uncured foam to fill the holes..

I got another repair kit last week.. looks like we will be repairing a few more targets this Sunday at lunch time. It only takes about 15 minutes for the foam to cure. Target #1 is a Black Bear, we will fix that one first, I have some black dye to add to the brown foam mix.

The June 19th shoot started off well but I started getting phone calls by target 15..I had to leave before lunch due to multiple problems at my job.. Good to see Gnome at the range again.
