I have been working on getting some vendors to set up at the shoot and I believe we are going to have several. We will have the longbow championship on Saturday and blanket shoots that afternoon and Sunday. We will also have a novelty shoot both days. It will be fun!!

Chris.. I hear Rumors that you have Compton's traditional lined up to come as well..??  that would be awesome, maybe they can do some measuring for folks interested in entering animals into thier archives, or "the book" for traditional kills...   that would be cool... thats a great group that does alot of good for our youth and traditional bowhunters... its looking better and better !!!!

Dave it is true! Compton is setting up a booth at the shoot along with a few other vendors. I will post a full list of the vendors as soon as I hear back from the rest I have invited.

correction on the bow specs: we had a typo that we missed till just now  the riser can be 1 1/2" back to belly at 6" below the shelf, not 1 1/8 as previously posted........

Bob, we plan to have a blanket shoot at around 2:00 pm Saturday  then another on Sunday around 9 am  all traditional equipment is welcome, no classes.. to get a "trophy" ya gotta bring one..preferably something archery /hunting related,(whatcha got extra at home?)   your name goes on what ya bring so dont be cheap !! LOL  but first place gets first choice off the blanket etc... so that means I will probably win a empty arrow box or something ...
come if ya can it will be alot of fun

Unfortunately Compton's guys won't be able to make it after all. I have talked to them and they just had too much stuff come up. They are on the hook for next year though!!

my heart is with you guys this morning!  perfect weather...gorgeous day... and I'm stuck at the fair again...at least we are giving kids there ribbons and trophies this morning.  I have to load animals for the Christian Home and clear out the barn tomorrow so it will have to be the next shoot... I know you are all having a great time!
