Scott, do you have the weekend off? Maybe you could make it for that. It's about a four hour drive from WR I think. We'd love to have you join if you could swing it.

I will try to make it to arrow 2013, my back and my ruptured disks, are not letting me shoot I will try to use lighter weight bow, might have to sleep at house, and drive up in mornings,to hunt Lake Ouachita,is one of the best places to hunt in the state ,I have seen quality deer, bear tracks, and over 40 thousand acres to hunt, with no fees, more deer here than on most hunting leases,in the state...10 hunters on 40,000 acres, sounds like heaven to me..

Sorry to hear about your back, Dave. Hope you can make it up at least for a visit.

You, too, Pac. Hopefully you'll be able to get off work but if not we'll take you for a visit.

Always good to sit around (or stump shoot) and shoot the bull. Looking forward to getting there.

Got 28-30 Sep off so I am all set for ARROW.  I have to work on the 27th but will get off at 4 pm.  I only live 1.5 miles from work so i plan to have everything ready to go and should be on the road no later than 5 pm.  I'm guessing I should be at Crystal around 8pm.  I'll have my boat to drop off and will need a spot to park the truck and camper but after that i will be ready to go!

Bad news here.  I gotta bail.  I have an army buddy getting married in Kansas and I'm supposed to be there, so I'm going to have to miss this one.  I'd darn sure going to take a bow and get there a day or two early.  As long as I don't get blood on my blues it'll be okay.  You guys have fun and maybe we can get something else going later on.

Wish you could have made it Sweeney, was looking forward to seeing you again.
I thought everyone knew not to get married in or close to hunting season.
Maybe we can get together for a hog hunt later on, I got a medium sized one yesterday morning.

X2.        Except for the hog.

Bo, I gotta get with you. More hogs need to die.

Yes.  I wish I could go too.  I have a new ERC longbow I made last winter that I plant to hunt with this year.  74" tip to tip.  Shoots hard and quiet (imagine that.  I made a quiet bow?  Noooo...) I kinda wanted to show it off, but can't swing two trips that long that close together.  Maybe we can finally do some hogs or another deer hunt this winter or spring though.  Have a good time down there and eat some duck poppers for me!!

Still need to get all my stuff gathered up.  I've been piecing it together but am still missing my fanny pack.

Got the camper on the truck and plan to stock it later this evening.

Talked with Tyler but didn't get around to the hunt.  We only talked a few minutes so I'll try to give hime a call when he gets off work and ask what his plans are.

I'll leave work at 4 pm on Friday.  Everything will be ready to go so I should be on the road by 4:30.  I'm guessing ETA at 6:30 pm Friday night.  I have to be at work on Tues but plan to hunt Monday evening before heading home.
