Yeah, I'll stay off the public land for that.  But it's only three or four days, so it may not be too bad.

Well AR bow season is pretty much ruined.
Last weekend......Doe only MG season
Next two weekeds.....ML season
The following weekend......Youth MG season
The follwing four weekends.....Regular MG season.

So unless you are in a bow only area or can hunt week days, you will need to wear hunter orange until December.  IMO the ARGF has messed up with this early Doe only gun hunt.

Im fortunate to have a bow only WMA 20 minutes from the house and it is where i hunt from november- january.. The Arkansas firearm season are a little much and really hurt our bow season.. I wish they would redo them

I killed two does Saturday morning during the doe gun hunt. Felt weird wearing orange not being a gun hunter. Other than the orange I don't mind the gun hunts, the guys on my lease and the land around us are very predictable and I use that to my advantage. The deer have patterned the hunters.

Finally got a doe last evening. Wasn't a great shot at all but with the help of my 14 year old son we tracked it for over 2 hours in the dark and finally found her in a grown up field. Great memory for me and my son.

Got another doe earlier this evening.  Young one but in good shape.  Should taste good.

Good job guys. I hunted all day Saturday. Saw the first deer at about 1:30. Through the evening hunt I had seven deer, no antlers, within 15 steps of my tree. Had 13 turkeys come within 7 step on both sides of the tree and never busted me. I will get back on doe patrol post rut.
