New to WI
« on: February 11, 2014, 07:24:00 PM »
Hello all, I will be moving to Grantsburg, WI in a couple months to start my new career. I plan on joining WTA but was wondering if there are any local clubs in the area I could look into joining?

Welcome! I am sure someone will be responding soon. There are a ton of very good shoots that are posted and will be posted for the Spring/Summer months. I am in the very Southeastern part of the state so cant help up there. The WTA is a great org that really has a great bunch of people. Hope to cross paths with you some day.

Welcome Chris. In that corner of the state there is the Solon Springs club. They have a real good Trad shoot 2 weeks after Memorial Day. Don Katerhagen isn't all that far from you and could fill you in better. Don't wait to join the WTA. Our next Stump Shooter is due out and this will be bigger with lots of pics and stories from the last season.
this link will take you right to our site to join.

Thanks for the leads and the link. I sent payment via paypal for my membership, is there anything else I need to do? I'm guessing you use the address and email I have listed?

Maybe you can make the state shoot at Rib Mountain Bowmen on Aug 8 & 9 between Wausau and Merril.
