I just got in and want to thank all the hardy trad folks that braved the elements to make it out to Sherwood Forest. I was really impressed with the distances traveled. Dodgeville, Shawano, and Lake Geneva were well represented. It looked like all had a good time, got in plenty of shooting, and were well fed. Many thanks to Ron for the awesome chili and fixins. I was really impressed with all the young archers in attendance. WOW!! There were many. Getting our youngsters introduced to traditional archery is one of my highest goals and I couldn't have expected more to show up. Many thanks to the drivers that got them all there. Another notable high point was meeting a number of newbies giving traditional archery a try. Their enthusiasm and eagerness to gain knowledge was good to see. There were even a few dyed in the wool techno shooters from the club giving it a go and having lots of fun.

Thanks to all that came out. I have a few ideas to make it even better next year. Oh, and btw, if you can bring some old Christmas ornaments by all means do so. My supply pretty much got all shot up.
