Thanks Kevin for hosting the bunny hunt.  I had a great time. Had one shot at the rabbit that ran the gauntlet unscathed. He dodged five arrows and made it past us clean.

See you all at the banquet.

Relaxing after in Winklers man cave. Real nice

Only about 7 of us this year but always great time and ditto on our hosts Kevin and Kris. Thanks you two. Everybody had shots but me, most shots were at one rabbit however. One rabbit hit but not recovered. Great weekend. The day before we were at Sherwood shoot hosted by Greg Salewski. The more we can get to upcoming shoots the better time we'll have and the more friends we make. Can never have enough friends.

No doubt a good time had by all. What better way to get out and stretch your legs and spread a little bull. I hope the doors were all closed before you started to scratch on those calls.

Greg - Old guys sitting around and talking hunting, generally scratch more than just calls!    :D

Bruce didn't get a shot, but he did carry more than a camera. Here is proof!

After it quit raining this past Sunday, I grabbed my selfbow and headed out north of my house where everyone got shots at that one bunny. I kicked up one bunny, but not 20 feet from where Mike got his shot I found this pair of sheds sticking out of the snow.

This is one of the bucks that I had at 25yds this year but passed on the shot. It's good to know that he is still around. I rough scored him at about 135 gross....estimating the width from camera pics. I have never found a pair together like these before.

You passed him up!?!? You know , I was almost feeling sorry for you when you told me you didn't get much hunting time in last year. I'll know better than to ever let that happen again.;^)

No! I didn't pass him up.....just passed on the shot. It was 25yds + and I didn't feel comfortable with the shot, I surely didn't want to wound him.
