Elk trip this year
« on: July 15, 2011, 08:41:00 AM »
It is getting close to that time again and I am getting pretty anxious for September!

My brother and I just picked up our OTC either sex elk licenses for Colorado.  Plane tickets were purchased months ago....

We have done DIY hunts out west for 5 years now and this will be our first trip to Colorado.

I got a couple dozen Douglas fir fletched up and a new bow!  Anyone else taking a adventurous trip this year????

I can't wait.

Sounds like an awesome time!

I can't wait until I hear how it goes! Hoping to live vicariously a bit.

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs
