ONTARIO BLACK BEAR OUTFITTERS?
« on: December 01, 2011, 11:56:00 AM »
Anyone have any references for a reasonable priced Bowhunting black bear outfitter in Ontario Canada?

I live in Ohio and used to Hunt Bears in the Timmons Ontario,Canada area before Outfitters were required. I would like to inquire whether
anyone had any referrals

Northland Bear Outfitters in Searchmont, Ontario is run by a personal friend of mine and they have had some great harvest percentages.

Sorry I saw this thread just now because it's probably way too late now and you may actually be up there hunting as Ontario only has a fall season but I would second Dewayne's recommendation of North River.

Here's a couple that are both near the Sudbury area:

North River Outfitters  http://www.northriveroutfitters.com
or
Moose Mountain  http://www.cdnbearoutfitters.ca

I haven’t hunted with either of these outfitters but Ken Lynn from Moose Mountain has a great reputation. You may have some difficulty hooking up with him because he’s usually booked up with return clients.

Re North River, I haven’t hunted with them either but I have emailed back and forth with a guy named Pasquale from North River many times and it seems like a good operation.
