Jeb, nice use of the cholla, and I really like the snowflake one.I see ya been posting some poly chrome blades , may I ask where are ya getting your poly from and how do ya like working with it. Bob

Thanks. Got the polychrome at the Tucson rock and gem show 3 years ago. The rock was like a stick of butter and needed no heat. Mike Cook has some but won't part with any.

Jeb, Went to Fla. knappins (2) this winter and Eric Morris had a couple crates of it , killer colors and worked pretty good. He told me it comes from Madagascar, Africa.

It does come from Madagascar. Hasn't been around too long in the knapping wotld. I read it was discovered around 2006. I find in my case real good rock can make an OK flintknapper look pretty good. I wished I had  barrel of this stuff but like Mookaite it has to be high graded or you get some cracked rock.
