Hey Jimmy, far as I know from recollection when I was interested in the stuff it grows mostly in the South East but has been found as close as southern Illinois, check out Pine Hollow in the sponsers list above Mike Yancey sells it there. I have one other guy who has harvested a bunch but havent heard back from him yet and I remember a post in the arrow and arrow components section who had some for sale. It's super tough stuff if you're willing to take the time to make it right, if you take an animal with a stone point and rivercane shaft bring a tissue casue thats about as close as you're gonna get to being a wildman- it's high on my list wish I sisn't sell my selfbow! See ya tomarrow

If you are able to get enough let me know and maybe we could work out a trade?  We are gonna have to do another pig hunt soon!

I stopped by the cane patch this afternoon and cut a few more, brought them home and started stripping the leaves down to the nodes. tied them up in bunches of 10 to start drying.

(dont worry I havent dented the cane patch yet.)
