Sad news indeed. I had just heard last week from Mike Hoffman that Kenny had cancer. Many great memories of the guy. RIP Kenny.

Here is a pic of him from last summer at Lake Geneva.

Kenny was always around.  I can't remember the last time I was at a shoot and Kenny didn't have something on display.  He will be missed.  Rest in Peace Kenny

I got an email from Johnathan Karch about his arrangements. I have the reply to his inquiry about a funeral date below. See you folks at Buck Rub.

Hi Jonathan,

Ken didn't want a funeral. There will be a celebration put on by some friends at the Buckrub Outfitters in Pewaukee on Dec 16 10 am- 3 pm

His daughter Shelly's address is

Mike & Shelly Silber

1080 Alfred Street

Brookfield, WI 53005

He was staying with Shelly & Mike since his diagnosis in September of leukemia. He was quite sharp until the last few days. In fact I was going down to stay with him on Wednesdays since his diagnoisis and we made bow strings on November 7.

Kurt

Kenny was a great man.  I had bought my first traditional bow from him in 2005.  He was one of the nicest people that I have ever met.  He will be missed.

Like many here I knew Ken for a long time. I sure can relate to buying something from him I did not need or did not know I needed. I have a Winona camo wool hat that is a bit big for me that I bought from Ken. I like it so I wear it. Anyhow, I have been thinking about how many beginners I sent over to see Ken and he placed a used starter bow in their hands. I sure can't think who will fill that niche now.

RIP Ken and say hello to Doc for me.

Bill

There is a web site set up remembering Kenny. There are many pictures and stories on the "more" section of the site.

Wow, what an amazing person.  I am saddened that I have not had the pleasure to meet Ken.  Prayers sent for his family and friends.
