Missed My Friends...

Well, a month has gone by since the State Shoot.  Had to miss it for the first time in five years because of an out of state funeral.  Heard everybody had a good time and the turn-out was excellent.  Betcha I don't miss a shoot next year!

Top that off with missing Chuck's shoot.  Heard it was a regular "OSTA" turnout.  

Don't know what to do to fill the void of missing all my OSTA friends.  Just doesn't seem like deer season without the usual "closure" to the summer...  Oh, well.  Guess I'll just have to go shoot me a deer...      
Good luck to all this season.  See you at the banquet (maybe at a rabbit hunt this winter?)

John you missed two great shoots and we the shooters missed you and your wonderful family.  Sorry about the funeral but man was made to die the physical life.  Good hunting this year!  Trust me the OSTA season will be here afore you know it.  The older you get the faster they go!

Not alot to tell. Had a great trip, but came home without a moose. I blew a gimme shot the first night (actually, the moose ducked my arrow). Saw lots of other moose through the week, but stalks didnt pan out for one reason or another.

 Our group of 5 came home with 3 moose. All the rookies killed bulls, but Jamie and I didnt.

 No complaints. Had a great trip, and cant wait to go back.
